About Chaithanya
CHAITHANYA was initiated in 1991 by Saravana Kumar Seshadri, alongside eight other like-minded intellectuals, with the vision of creating a "Just Human Society." Our core philosophy is to work towards establishing a casteless and creedless society through peaceful means. We are committed to driving socio-economic development by fostering creativity and promoting modern, scientific, and technological methods, all while upholding traditional ethical values.
Upcoming Projects to Fund
Based on our new model, we are excited to mark our 35th year with the launch of three flagship initiatives in 2024: Sow the Future, Shakthi, and Aid & Care, while consolidating our existing projects into these programmes for a more structured operational approach. In 2025, we will introduce our fourth flagship programme, Unnathi—an educational initiative—celebrating our 35th anniversary.
